La Plâtrière is located in the upper town of Le Puy en Velay, right in the heart of its historic district. You can reach us by car and use one of our two garages. A lift will take you to the second floor, where you’ll feel right at home.

Our pedestrian entrance gives you discreet, protected access to the narrow streets of the upper town. The cathedral is just 190 metres away and takes 4 minutes to reach on foot.

If you prefer the lively life of the town centre, the Place du Plot with its restaurants and terraces, or its Saturday market, are 300 metres away; the Théâtre du Puy, the Musée Crozatier and its superb collections, and the Dyke cinema with its 6 screens and 1,122 seats are 650 metres from La Platrière.

Le Puy is 1 hour 50 minutes from Lyon Part-Dieu or the centre of Clermont-Ferrand; 145 kilometres from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport and 126 kilometres from Clermont-Ferrand airport; 70 kilometres or 1 hour 15 minutes by train from Saint-Étienne TGV station!
